RSS contribution to democratic republic commendable: Vice President

Kathmandu, Jan 23: Vice President Ram Sahay Yadav has praised the contribution of the Rastriya Samachar Samiti to the institutional development of the democratic republic and the people's right to be informed by disseminating truth, facts and reliable news.     

During a meeting with a RSS team including Executive Chair, Dharmendra Jha at the Office of the Vice President's today, Vice President Yadav expressed the view that he was aware of the efforts being made by the RSS in news diversification, which could be further expanded in the days to come.     

During the meeting, Executive Chair Jha said that the RSS has emphasized on diversification and institutional strengthening of news by disseminating news round-the-clock and providing news, audio-visual and opinion-based articles in various mother tongues.     

RSS General Manager Siddha Raj Rai and RSS Board Member and Chief of Features Section Krishna Adhikari were also present on the occasion.(RSS)
