Kathmandu, Jan 17: An understanding has been reached to forward the bills that are under consideration at the Federal Parliament by forging a common concept.
Such understanding was reached during the meeting held among chief whips of the four major political parties at the parliamentary party office of the CPN (UML) in Singha Durbar on Friday.
Nepali Congress's chief whip Shyam Kumar Ghimire shared that a discussion was held regarding how to forward the bills that are under consideration at the federal parliament and pass them soon.
Similarly, CPN (UML) chief whip Mahesh Kumar Bartaula mentioned that the meeting drew a conclusion to make the parliament effective and move ahead making a common concept on the parliamentary process.
Likewise, the chief whips discussed finalising the bills that are in thematic committees of the parliament by making common views of ruling and opposition parties.
NC chief whip Ghimire, Bartaula of the CPN (UML), Hitraj Pandey of the CPN (Maoist Centre) and Santosh Pariyar of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party were present in the meeting. (RSS)
