Dang, Jan 7: The Rapti Academy of Health Sciences (RAHS) has decided to provide treatment to those associated with Social Security Fund (SSF).
An agreement to this was made
between Registrar at RAHS, Prof Shyam Lamsal, and officials from SSF amidst a
programme in Kathmandu on Monday.
Registrar Lamsal informed that RAHS
made such decision so that it would be easy for the people associated with SSF
to access health services easily. The Academy provides general health service
to surgeries, he added.
Similarly, SSF said more than 5,000
people were registered under the scheme from Dang district so far.
Number of people getting registered
under SSF is growing gradually- those working as security persons at bank and
companies, and in foreign employment.
SSF reimburses the amount spent in
treatment. (RSS)
