Influence of westernly winds across the country: thick fog in Terai

 Kathmandu, Jan.8: According to the Meteorological Forecast Division, there is a general effect of western winds across the country at present. 

The weather was partly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country, while the rest of the country was mostly clear On Wednesday morning many places in Terai will witness fog and mist.

Similarly, the department has predicted that the weather will be partly cloudy in the Himalayan and hilly areas of Koshi province while weather will remain mostly clear in the rest of the country as the day progresses. 

The bulletin issued by the Department on Wednesday night also mentioned that the weather will remain partly cloudy in the Himalayan and hilly areas of Koshi province and the weather will remain mostly clear in the rest of the country.

The Department has urged to take necessary precautions as there is a possibility of fog in some places in Terai and Valley in the morning, which can impact daily life, health, transport, and airways.
