Agriculture Development Bank must focuse towards farmer:DPM Singh

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov 22 Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh has said that there is significant role of Agriculture Development Bank (ADB) in economic development of Nepal.  

He has addressed the Association of Nepal Financial Institution Staff today at central office, Agriculture Development Bank.  

DPM Singh said that it has more responsibility than other banks to provide service to farmer. 

The minister Singh said, "The bank has been providing its service to people continuously". 

He added, "Bank should be consolidated by solving the problem of staff".

Chairperson of the Association of Nepal Financial Institution Staff Ram Bahadur Rawal has informed that agreement has been reached with the Board Committee of the demand of agitating staff related to social security. He has demanded to move it forward which is pending in the Ministry of Finance.   

Chief Execute Officer of ADB Govinda Gurung said that demand of staff should be met immediately because service will get affected if enthusiasiam of its human resource of any institution is not high.
