By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct.26: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has organized a protest rally in Kathmandu today.

This afternoon, as the main opposition party, the Maoist Center hosted a demonstration at Exhibition Road, Bhrikutimandap, to express dissent against the government's errors and to emphasize crucial measures that must be implemented.

The Maoist Center has asserted that the demonstration and mass assembly will be peaceful.

The party has been criticizing the government's insensitivity, irresponsibility, and lack of planning in disaster management, specifically regarding the search for missing individuals, distribution of relief, treatment of the injured, and construction of temporary housing.

Additionally, the Maoists have also planned to hold the rally to address ongoing conspiracies and corrupt practices that threaten to undermine the good governance campaign initiated by the previous Maoist-led government.

The main opposition party has remarked that the KP Sharma Oli-led government has been completely unsuccessful in its first hundred days.

Jointly organized by the Bagmati Province, the Valley Special Committee, and the Coordination Committee, the rally, gathered leaders and activists at Kathmandu Mall.

From there, a procession led by Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and other leaders proceeded with musical instruments and banners. The rally moved from Bhadrakali and Shahid Gate to Kathmandu Mall and then coalesced into a mass meeting at Bhrikutimandap.
