Emergency meeting of Central Security Committee summoned

Kathmandu, Sept 28: The Ministry of Home Affairs has summoned an urgent meeting of the Central Security Committee. 

The meeting scheduled for 10:30 am has been called by Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak to decide the rescue and relief measures and further action plan in wake of heavy rainfall severely affecting people's lives across the country.

According to the Home Minister's Secretariat, the heads of all four security agencies are scheduled to attend the meeting.

Meanwhile, Home Minister Lekhak has urged everyone to maintain high vigilance and stay in safe locations considering the risk of floods, landslide and inundation triggered by continuous rain across the country. (RSS)
