Bhimdutta Highway, rural roads obstructed in Sudurpaschim

Dadeldhura, Sept. 13 : The Bhimdatta Highway and KI Singh Highway have been blocked with the landslides occurred in different places in the district flowing the continuous rain taking place since Wednesday evening.  

  
The landslides have also blocked several roads networks connecting the rural areas in the districts of the Sudurpaschim Province.    


The vehicles have remained off the road as the Bhimdutta Highway that links the seven hilly districts to the southern plains in Sudurpaschim Province was obstructed. Likewise, vehicular movement is blocked along the KI Singh Highway that connects Dadeldhura and Doti districts.    


According to the District Police Office, a landslide at Sahukharka has obstructed Bhimdutta Highway. Likewise, another landslide at Ganyapdhura has completely blocked vehicular movement along the KI Singh Highway.    


Similarly, vehicular movement along Jogbudha in Dadeldhura to Budar in Doti is also completely obstructed after a landslide at Sunkhola in Alital Rural Municipality.     
The obstruction of the roadways left stranded dozens of vehicles carrying essential goods in the districts.    


Likewise, the power supply has also been disrupted in Dadeldhura following the rain coupled with a heavy storm since last night in the district.  (RSS)
