PM Oli offers best wishes on Krishna Janmashtami, Gaura Parba

Kathmandu, Aug 26: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has extended best wishes to all on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami and Gaura Parba festivals today.     

The Prime Minister took to social media to extend to all the festival best wishes, remembering Shree Krishna, the Hindu god, as a symbol of love and beauty.     

Hindus across the country are observing Krishna Janmashtami by paying homage to Lord Krishna today.     

Meanwhile, Gaura Parba, a significant festival for people from the far-western and western regions of Nepal, is dedicated to the Hindu deities Parvati and Shiva. A special ceremony was held at the local Tundikhel to mark the occasion. (RSS)
