Minister Pokharel pledges government support for Phapla cricket stadium

Mahendranagar, April 4: Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Sasmit Pokharel, who also holds the portfolio of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, has pledged government support for the construction of the Phapla Cricket Ground in Dhangadhi, Kailali.     

The Minister, who arrived in Dhangadhi today, made this statement while briefly speaking to the media during his inspection of the cricket ground.     

He said that Sudurpaschim Province has a strong passion for cricket and expressed the government prioritizes the construction of cricket infrastructure.     

The Minister arrived to participate in a Senate meeting of Shahid Dashrath Chand Health Sciences University, based in Geta, Kailali.(RSS)
