Three persons missing as vehicle plunges into Sunkoshi River

Sindhuli, Aug. 24: Three persons went missing after a vehicle fell off the road into the Sunkoshi River this evening.     

The Hilux pickup van plunged into the river after losing its control at Kudule of Golanjor Rural Municipality-1 in Sindhuli district on its way to Bhaktapur from Khotang.     

Superintendent of Police of District Police Office Sindhuli, Govindaraj Kafle, said that Pranit Syagu, Balaram Ghatuwa and Abin Bade of Suryabinayak Municipality in Bhaktapur went missing after the vehicle plunged into the river.     

Four persons were onboard the vehicle.     

Likewise, Sushant Kashapati, who has sustained injuries in the accident, is receiving treatment at a hospital in Khurkot, Sindhuli.     

Police said that a search for the missing ones is ongoing.
