Karnali CM Kandel to seek trust vote on Monday
The Chief Minister of the Karnali Province Yam Lal Kandel.
By Naveen Subedi, Surkhet, Aug 4: The Chief Minister of the Karnali Province Yam Lal Kandel will take a vote of confidence on Monday from the Provincial Assembly (PA).
Kandel will take a vote of confidence according to article 188 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal.
This is his second time to take a trust vote from the PA. He secured a vote of confidence on April 25 this year.
After the coalition change in the federal government last month, the CPN Maoist Centre withdrew its support to the Karnali government.
CM Kandel is preparing to reshuffle the cabinet with the support of the Nepali Congress.
