CM Singh vows industrial development

Janakpur, Aug 3: Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Satish Kumar Singh, has vowed assistance for the industrial development.     

The province government is always ready to encourage businesspersons for the industrial and trade developments in the province. CM Singh said it while speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the FNCCI Province chapter today.     

According to him, the province government was positive to announce Bara-Parsa industrial corridor, so discussion was going on with the concerned stakeholders.     

Coordination with the federal government is made on the basis of need, he said, adding that they were at work to produce skilled and competent human resources. It is important to supply raw materials for industries on time.     

"It is clear the cement factories of Nepal are yet to be competitive internationally," he admitted. Singh complained that some cement factories had failed to pay tax.     

According to him, the province governance was mulling e-governance, so cooperation from diverse sectors was imperative.
