Pariyar missing in Dharche landslide found dead

Gorkha, Aug 3: A person who went missing in a landslide that occurred at Dharche rural municipality-5 of northern Gorkha was found dead after a week.     

The body of Ramesh Pariyar, 24 of Arughat rural municipality-6 was found today, said the Information Officer of the District Police Office, Ramesh Kumar Shrestha.     

The tractor driver had gone missing since the landslide occurred on July 28. His body was found two kilometres away from the incident site.     

Earlier, the bodies of five others who had gone missing together in the landslide were recovered. They were Sulal Kanchha, 70, Jit Bahadur Gurung, 37, Resham Gurung, 33 and Kanchhi Gurung, 35. (RSS)
