Water Resources Bill sent to concerned committee for clause-wise discussion

Kathmandu, July 9: Today's meeting of the House of Representatives has unanimously approved the proposal for sending the 'Water Resources Bill, 2081' to the concerned committee for clause-wise discussion.

On the occasion, Minister for Energy, Water Resources and irrigation, Shakti Bahadur Basnet presented the proposal. 

Similarly, Minister Basnet on the behalf of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' tabled the 'Fifth Annual Report of Tharu Commission' in the meeting.

A letter regarding allocation of ministerial portfolios and authentication of bill received from the Office of the President was read out in the meeting. The HoR will meet next at 4:00 pm on July 11.(RSS)
