Baglung, April 24: The Sustainable Tourism Promotion Project has provided Rs 4.5 million in grant to establish and enhance the quality of home stay facilities in Nisikhola and Dhorpatan, Baglung.
It is said that such a grant amount was provided to 14 households to expand the Pakhathar community home stay in Dhorapatan Municipality-9 and to run Budhathok Nakha community home stay in four households at Budhathokgaun in Nisikhola Rural Municipality in the district.
Project Chief Amar Thapa said that the grant amount was provided to the home stay operators to promote youth entrepreneurship, make women self-reliant and run tourism-friendly home stay facilities in a systematic way.
As planned, 20 households in Dhorpatan Municipality and 10 households in Nisikhola Rural Municipality would be brought in operation as the home stay in a more systematic way. (RSS)
