1420-years-old traditional mud festival begins in Panauti

By TRN Online, Kavrepalanchwok, June 20: The historical mud festival in Panauti, which dates back to 1420 years, is beginning today.

Two poles of bamboo are to be laid across the Punyamata stream in the historical town of Panauti this evening, which will formally indicate the start of the fair.

The fair will go on for a week.
