Chief Minister Acharya stresses innovation in planning

Lumbini April 24: Chief Minister of Lumbini Province, Chet Narayan Acharya, has said plans and programmes should be formulated in a way to strengthen federalism and keep in centre the innovation. 

In his address to the third meeting of the Provincial Board of Directors and Local Government Empowerment Programme in the provincial capital, Rapti Valley (Deukhuri) on Friday, CM Acharya directed subordinates to work responsibly and boost coordination with the local governments.

Capacity building of the employees should not be limited to documentation but be reflected in action, according to him. 

Principal Secretary at the province, Krishna Prasad Kapri, also underlined the urgency of building employee's capacity to streamline the service delivery. 

The meeting reviewed the progress of the current fiscal year till date and decided to approve the proposed annual programme and budget for the next fiscal year with modifications. (RSS)
