Lotus flowers on Buddhi Lake (Photo Feature)

By Janu Pande, Kapilvastu, May 18: Buddhi Lake of Kapilvastu district has become attractive due to the blooming of lotus flowers these days.

Situated at Buddhabhumi Municipality - 4, Lake has been covered by blooming lotus flowers. The municipality has been developing the lake as a tourist place.

The Chairman of Ward Number 4 Sushil Chaudhary said that the lake's east and west have been covered by the lotus due to the blooming of lotus flowers. 

Lake is situated one Kilometer away from Hanuman Chowk of Buddhabhumi Municipality, Kapilvastu of East-west highway.

To develop the lake as a tourism destination which lies in between the Tharu settlement, the work of the Tharu Museum, park and beautification of the lake is underway.
