West Indies wins T20 series against Nepal

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 2: West Indies have won the T20 series against Nepal.

Defeating Nepal by 28 runs on Thursday's 4th match, West Indies won the series by 3-1.

Nepal won only the 1st T20 whereas West Indies won the 2nd, 3rd and 4th match regularly. 5th match is yet to be played.

On the 4th T20I at Kirtipur on Thursday West Indies defeated Nepal by 28 runs. 

Chasing a target of 210 runs Nepal scored 181 runs in the stipulated 20 overs with the loss of 10 wickets.

Captain Rohit Paudel hit a half-century but also remained inadequate for the team's victory.

Paudel scored 82 runs whereas Sundeep Jora, Dipendra Singh Airee and Gulsan Jha scored 19 runs each.

Similarly, Abinash Bohara scored 17 runs, Kushal Malla hit 4 runs and Kushal Bhurtel scored a single run.

From the West Indies side, Matthew Forde and Hayden Walsh took 2 wickets each whereas Fabian Allen and Gudakesh Motie took 2 wickets each respectively. 

Earlier, batting first West Indies had posted a target of 210 runs for Nepal.
