Yadavs orgnise reunion programme

By Jaya Krishna Yadav,Inaruwa, Mar. 26: The Yadav community of Sunsari district organised a Holi reunion programme on Monday on the occasion of Fagu Purnima. 

Nepal Yadav Service Society, Sunsari, organised the Holi reunion programme at Inaruwa, the district headquarters. 

On the occasion, greetings were exchanged by singing various Holi songs. Ramdev Yadav, Koshi Province Assembly Member, addressed the programme.

Mahendra Prasad Yadav, former Chairperson of Narasingh Rural Municipality, Bhubaneshwar Yadav, Advisor of Nepal Yadav Service Society, Jay Krishna Yadav, Advocate Lakhan Lal Yadav, representative of Morang Narayan Yadav, Principal Ganga Yadav, among others, discussed the importance of Holi and history of the Yadav community.

Rajiv Koirala, Nepali Congress Central Member extended best wishes to all on the occasion of the Holi festival.

Stating that Holi is a religious and cultural festival, he said that the Nepali society has been celebrating this festival every year with family affection, mutual unity and social harmony.

Similarly, Mayor of Inaruwa Municipality and Sunsari President of Nepali Congress Kedar Bhandari extended best wishes to all the residents of the municipality on the occasion of Holi festival.

He urged all the city and district residents to celebrate the Holi as a cultural festival.
