Help Nepal, Gandaki into semis

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Mar. 21: Tip Top Help Nepal Sports Club kept their title defence alive at the 8th RBB NVA Women and Men Volleyball Championship by advancing into the semifinals after defeating Budhanilkantha Volleyball Club 3-0 on Wednesday at the NSC Covered Hall in Kathmandu. 

Help Nepal achieved this feat by winning three straight sets of 25-18, 25-17, and 25-23 in the men's quarterfinals. In the men's category, Gandaki Province also secured their place in the semifinals by defeating APF Club in a straight set of 25-17, 30-28, and 25-23. Gandaki Province will face Help Nepal in the last four.

In the women's category, Nepal Police Club and Chandragiri New Diamond advanced into the semifinals by winning their respective groups. Police Club defeated Tribhuvan Army Club 25-15, 25-16, and 25-19 to top Group A, while Everest finished as runners-up. Army and Karnali Province crashed out of the group. New Diamond won Group B by beating Madhes Province 25-10, 25-6, and 25-8. Police will play against APF, and New Diamond will face Everest in the semi-finals on Thursday.
