Probe commission's report on gold smuggling to be executed

Kathmandu, March 15: The government has decided to immediately execute the probe commission's report on gold smuggling.     

A meeting of the Council of Ministers today decided to execute the report.     

It may be noted that the probe commission on the prevention of illegal import of gold had submitted its report to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Rabi Lamichhane.     

Government Spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Rekha Sharma informed the media persons that the cabinet decided to immediately bring the report to implementation after its study.     

Likewise, the meeting decided to change the portfolio of two Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG).     

According to Minister Sharma, AIG Shyamlal Gyawali has been transferred to Central Investigation Bureau from the police headquarters while another AIG Kiran Bajracharya transferred to the police headquarters from CIB. (RSS)
