By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar 1: The Embassy of Japan handed over the new classroom building to Shree Praja Pragati Basic Secondary School in Makawanpur on Thursday. It was aided by Japan.
According to the press release of the Japanese Embassy, approximately Rs 10 million was supported by the government of Japan under the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) for the construction of a new classroom building for the School.
Aid was given to construct new classrooms ensuring a bright future for children.
The public school till eighth grade was established in 1980 and imparts education to children from indigenous backgrounds.
Since 1991, over 200 GGP projects have been completed in Nepal.
