Indefinite curfew in Birgunj

By Deepak Prasad Gautam, Kathmandu, Feb 20: The District Administration Office, Parsa, has resumed an indefinite curfew order in Birgunj from 10 am today.

The curfew which was clamped from Monday 5 pm evening was released for four hours from 6 am today to 10 am.

Issuing a notice DAO Parsa on Monday imposed curfew in Birgunj as there was a situation of conflict and clash during the demonstration of Hindu Samaj.

According to the notice signed by the Chief District Officer of Parsa Dinesh Sagar Bhusal, till the next order, an indefinite curfew has been clamped.

As per the DAO notice, a curfew was imposed in the area up to Nagawa Chowk in the east, Tilawe Pul in the west, Parwanipur in the north and up to Miteri Pul (customs area) in the south.
