One succumbs to cold in Morang

By Hari Koirala, Urlabari, Jan 18: One person has succumbed to the frostbite in Urlabari, Morang. 

Around 40-year-old Santosh Rai known as ‘Gyatise’ who had been living under a bridge of Mawa stream, Urlabari-6, was found dead on Thursday morning. 

Rai had been making a living by collecting plastic substances for a long time in the Urlabari area. His home is said to be located at Chulachuli, Illam. 

The Urlabari Police Station said that the body of the deceased has been taken to Madan Bhandari Hospital and Trauma Center for postmortem. 

Police Inspector Debendra Das, from Urlabari Police Station, said, “The reason for the death will be ascertained only when the results of postpartum are out.”
