Address problems of people travelling on visit visa: PM Prachanda

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 17: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said that do not trouble those travelling on visit visas at the Tribhuvan International Airport, mentioning that the PM has received complaints on the topic. 

Mentioning many complaints about the suffering induced at the Tribhuvan International Airport Prime to those flying with a visit visa and work permit, PM Prachanda said to create a facilitating environment immediately in a discussion at Baluwatar on Wednesday morning.

“I have heard the complaint about retuning those who are flying in visit visa showing the reason for incomplete documents from the airport and then sending them after having fulfilled the demand under the table, so make sure to fulfil the responsibility about sending those who are going on visit visa as per the immigration work plan, " the PM said.  

The PM has directed the creation of an awareness program on travelling on a visit visa at all local levels and to work in the interest of people to the respective agencies. 

Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs, Ranjita Shrestha Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation and  Baikuntha Aryal, Chief Secretary of the Government of Nepal, along with ministers of respective ministries, officials of departments and agencies were participated in the meeting.
