People's complaints will be addressed: Minister Jwala

Chitwan, Jan 13: Minister for Physical Infrastructures and Transport, Prakash Jwala, has said the government would move ahead by addressing people's complaints relating to the construction of the East-West railway. 

Talking to media persons here today, Minister Jwala mentioned that problems would be resolved from all-side meetings because locals launched agitation citing the study, which they argued, showed railway passes through human settlement.  

He shared the activities related to studying for the railway have stopped for the time being.

Minister Jwala added discussion would be held among people's representatives, representatives of political parties and stakeholders today about the reality and its alternative. "We are in the course of discussion on the issue of demarcation of East-West railway", he shared. 

On a different note, Minister Jwala admitted that problems surfaced while forwarding activities of road construction due to a lack of sufficient budget and lax contractors. (RSS)
