Temperature to drip further inviting surging cold

Kathmandu, Dec 21: The temperature of the Kathmandu Valley has been dropping daily. The temperature of the Kathmandu Valley today has been marked as the lowest recorded temperature of this year. 

Rojan Lamichhane, a Meteorologist at the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology under the Meteorological Forecasting Division, said that the temperature in Kathmandu was five degrees on Wednesday, and on Thursday it went down to 4.5 degrees Celsius. 

He said, “The temperature in Kathmandu today has been recorded the lowest thus far. It is likely to go down further.”

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the temperature was 4.8 degrees Celsius in Kathmandu at 5:45 AM on Thursday, and it dropped down to 4.5 degrees Celsius at 8-45 PM.
