Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has urged all to stay united to safeguard achievements
made so far.
The PM made the
appeal while addressing a ceremony organized on the occasion of Shankhadhar Memorial
Day.
Pointing at the
lately growing activities that target weakening the democratic achievements, PM
Prachanda appealed to all to stand united for safeguarding the democratic
gains.
He also pointed out the need to change the attitude to forget the necessity to work to save democratic achievements after they have been gained because regressive forces always try to sabotage the achievements.

Referring to the key role played by the Newar community in movements against the Rana and the Panchayat autocracy, he urged all to stay united against regressive forces as they are plotting to sabotage democratic achievements.

Meanwhile, RSS adds that Nepal Sambat Nhunda National Celebration Committee has honoured Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' for taking the historic decision to mention Nepal Sambat calendar in all government documents.
The Committee Chairperson Naresh Man Bajracharya presented the certificate to PM Prachanda amid a function today on the Shankhadhar Memorial Day. The Committee also handed curd and a shawl as an auspicious gift to the PM in honour.
The government took a decision to mention the date of Nepal Sambat in all government documents through the Cabinet meeting on November 13. The Committee also congratulated PM Prachanda and the Council of Ministers for making this historic decision.
