By TRN Online, Jajarkot, Nov. 7: President Ramchandra Paudel has reached in the earthquake-affected areas. He is taking stock of the condition of the injured by reaching the Jajarkot District Hospital.
The quake injured have requested basic needs, treatment for injured, lodging, food, clothing and shelter.
Kiran Pokharel, Press advisor to President Paudel, said that the President assured that the necessary shelter, food and other basic needs would be arranged and that the President would make a call to the government.
Advisor Pokharel, quoting the President’s statement said, “Arrangements will be made by identifying short-term and long-term needs. There is no need to worry about it, I will talk to the government about that.”
Suresh Sunar, Chief District Officer of Jajarkot informed about the situation of the district. Likewise, doctors informed about injured patients to President.
President reached Jajarkot on Tuesday from Surkhet to enquire about the quake victims. He will take stock of the condition in Khalanga, Ramidada, Nalgad and Aathbiskot Municipality Rukum Pashchim.
Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka, Member of Parliament of the Karnali Province and Chief of Army Staff have reached the affected areas with the President.
