Periodic plan should incorporate issues from all three tiers: CM Jammakattel

Manahari, Nov 7: Chief Minister of Bagmati Province, Shalikram Jammakattel, has said the periodic plan should align the spirit of constitution in order to achieve sustainable development goals. The plan needs to incorporate the issues from all three tiers of government, he stressed.    
    
During a discussion organized by the National Planning Commission on preliminary draft of the 16th periodic plan here Monday, the Chief Minister suggested the Commission reflecting government policy and programmes as per changed context in the plan. He further viewed proper use of resources in province could be another priority in the periodic plan.    
    
On the occasion, National Planning Commission member Prabhu Budhathoki expressed the view that the plan was being prepared with the goal of achieving good governance, social justice and prosperity.    
    
Similarly, Province Policy and Planning Commission's Vice Chair Prof Dr Narbikram Thapa viewed prosperity and sustainable development of the province must be stressed by the national plan. (RSS)
