Corruption should be rooted out: NC leader Dr Koirala

Biratnagar, Oct 26 : Nepali Congress (NC) central member Dr Shekhar Koirala said the corruption and impunity should be exterminated for establishing good governance in the country.    

 At the greetings exchange held at Sobhit Bhawan of Biratnagar today, he said there would be no effect to the central coalition due to the Koshi province government.    

 Noting that the present coalition government should be run for full term, he stressed the need of unity in the NC.    
 The country should in no way be enmeshed to the conflict, Koirala said, adding the political parties and leaders are responsible for Nepal being the poor country of the Asian continent.    

 He also argued political stability was behind backwardness of Koshi province in terms of development. He urged the political parties to take up crucial role in bridging societies and communities.    

 "NC would provide protection and opportunities to the leaders and cadres joining our party", he said on the occasion.  (RSS)
