Medical Education Act on amendment process

Annapurna (Kaski), Oct 20: Minister for Health and Population Mohan Bahadur Basnet said the medical education act was on the amendment process.     

At the greetings exchange programme organized by Nepal Farmers' Federation in Pokhara on Friday, Minister Basnet further said the amendment would be taken ahead to resolve the problems facing by medical education sector.     

"The medical education act will be amended. The prime minister and parties' leaders have taken it positively. The amendment process has already gained momentum", he shared.     

A strong policy has been adopted to end anomalies of the health sector, the minister claimed. He reiterated his commitment to bring reforms in health sector. (RSS)
