Five highways blocked due to incessant rain

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug 13: Due to continuous rainfall since Saturday five highways have been fully obstructed across the country.
According to the data of the Department of Roads, 41 highways across the nation are in operation partially.
Chatara-Mulghat-Majhitar-Amarapurdanda-Ganeshchowk (Tamor Corridor), Tansen-Ridi-Korala, Dumre-Beshishahar-Chame, Madan Bhandari Highway and Karnali Highway are completely blocked.
Department has said that the effort to remove obstruction is underway. It has requested passengers who use that blocked road to use optional roads.
According to Department, 145 roads are in operation after removing obstructions.
