Attariya (Kailali), Jan 5: Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Province, Kamal Bahadur Shah, has said province government had accorded a top priority to the health sector reform.
CM Shah said it while inaugurating the free blood service from all government hospitals in the province on Sunday. He however said there were limited resources to carry out planned activities.
Free blood service would benefit people most, he said, assuring province government's assistance to expand the service further.
On the occasion, Minister for Social Development, Megh Raj Khadka, expressed belief that the free blood service would help the patients from poor financial status.
CM Shah, while assuming the office in August 2024, had announced that he would materialize the decision of free blood service from the government hospitals.
The free blood service was materialized after the Ministry of Social Development made collaboration with Nepal Red Cross Society's Province Blood Transfusion Centre, Dhangadhi.(RSS)
