Application open for Mrs. Nepal

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Aug. 12: The beauty pageant for married women, Mrs. Nepal World, has made a comeback this year. Ribbon Entertainment, the organising body, has started accepting applications.

Nishukanta Jha, the Pageant Director, informed that application is open for this year’s competition. 

The title winner of Mrs. Nepal World will also have a chance to represent Nepal at the Mrs. World event in the United States. Furthermore, Mrs. Nepal International and MS International winners will also be crowned at the same event, informed the organiser. 

The audition will be held on September 2 at Aryal International Hotel in New Baneshwor, according to the organiser. 

Prospective participants can either apply via the Khalti app or collect application forms from the organiser's office in Shankhamul or Aryal International Hotel in New Baneshwor. 

This year, the Mrs. Nepal World winner will have the opportunity of showcasing Nepal at the Mrs. World competition in Las Vegas at the end of 2023.

The recipients of the Mrs. Nepal International and MS International titles will head to the Mrs. International event in Singapore.

Diksha KC was the representative for Nepal at the Mrs. World pageant last December. Nepal is participating for the second time in this competition.

The choreography for this year's contestants will be handled by Ashwini Jha, with additional guidance and training provided by specialists in various domains. The preparation sessions, in collaboration with Ganga Maharjan and Samrat Shah, will begin on September 4.

Actress Karishma Manandhar was bestowed with the Honorary Mrs. Nepal title, while actress Gauri Malla received the Honorary MS International accolade last year.
