20 competing for Mr. Nepal

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, July 20: Next Models Nepal, the organiser of ‘Mr. Nepal,’ is confident that Nepal has a strong chance of winning the prestigious title of ‘Mr. World’ this time. 

According to Ravi Dhamala, the CEO of Next Models Nepal, all the contestants of Mr. Nepal possess equal capabilities to win the prestigious title. 

Dhamala firmly believes that whoever emerges as the winner of Mr. Nepal will have the capacity to bring home the coveted title of ‘Mr. World’.

Dhamala stated that they have made significant improvements in the training of the participants, making them the best contenders for the crown of ‘Mr. World’ this year.

During an event held in the capital, Next Models Nepal introduced the contestants and provided details about the preparations. 

Renowned choreographer Prashant Tamrakar spoke about the contestants, praising their capabilities in all aspects. 

The programme also announced the names of the 20 final contestants.

 In addition to introducing themselves, the contestants engaged with the media, sharing their motivations for participating in the competition. 

The contestants represent diverse fields, including students, doctors, engineers, pilots, and charter accountants.

The grand finale of the male beauty pageant is scheduled to take place on Saturday.

A total of 12 winners will be chosen from diverse categories, including the coveted title of Mr. Nepal. 

The title winner will be granted Rs.  500,000, as well as the opportunity of representing Nepal in either ‘Mr. World’ or ‘Mr. Global’.

 The organisers confirmed that winners from four other significant categories would also be given the chance to participate in international competitions this year.

Yaetna Pandey, the Managing Director of Next Models Nepal, said that the competition has been held regularly since 2001 with the objective of developing the youth's personality, boosting their confidence, and uncovering their potential.
