Lebanese citizen arrested with 10,000 US dollars

Kathmandu, July 18: Nepal Police have arrested a foreigner with 10,000 US dollars from Tribhuvan International Airport.
A team of the Nepal Police deputed at the TIA arrested L Yaman Mohammad, a Lebanese citizen, 43, and made him public today. He was flying to Dubai on a Nepal Airlines flight.
According to the Police Headquarters, he was arrested after 100 units of US dollars of 100 denominations were found in his possession in the course of checking his handbag at TIA.
He has been sent to the Department of Revenue Investigation, Hariharbhawan, Lalitpur, for necessary investigation and action. (RSS)
