Deuba calls NC office-bearers’ meeting today

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, July 17: Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of the sitting and former office-bearers of the party for Monday.

NC chief secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel informed on Sunday that the meeting is scheduled to be held at Deuba’s private residence in Dhumbarai at 3.00 pm.

Deuba has called the meeting ahead of the NC Central Working Committee meeting scheduled for Tuesday.

The top-brass meeting is likely to fix the agendas of the CWC meeting.

The CWC meeting is scheduled after a year even though the party statute provisioned it be convened once every two months. 

The much-awaited meeting is likely to fix the date for the party’s policy convention and discuss the organisational strength and the latest political development.
