Karki presented Roshni International film award

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, June 23: Music video director Vidhan Karki was honoured with the Best Male Director Award at the 4th Roshani International Film Festival -2023, held in Maharashtra, India, recently.

Karki received the best male director award for his music video ‘Aamako Mamata’. ‘Aamako Mamata’ is a music video that portrays the profound bond between a mother and child. It competed against more than 1,300 music videos, movies, and short films from around the world, said Karki. 

The video has lyrics by Arjun Subedi, vocals by Ram Krishna Dhakal, and music by Arjun Pokharel. 

Produced by Nakshatra Production, the music video showcases the story of parents who adopt an orphaned child and their subsequent struggles after being separated from them.  Karki directed the video, featuring Sunil Thapa, Hiunwala Gautam, Gaurav Pahari, Sridev BL and 

Dyan Gautam.
