Yoga Day MESSAGE

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, June 21: President Ramchandra Paudel has wished for the happiness, peace and good health of all Nepalis on the occasion of International Yoga Day on Wednesday.

The International Day of Yoga has been celebrated across the world annually on June 21 since 2015, following its inception in the United Nations General Assembly in 2014.

 “It is a matter of happiness for us Nepalis that the world has accepted the usefulness of Yoga, which is part of the ancient civilisation and philosophy of Nepal,” he said, adding, “Not only our Yoga gurus and scholars but historical facts also prove that Nepal is the land of Yoga.”

President Paudel outlined the multiple physical and psychological benefits of Yoga such as relieving stress, increasing immunity, developing a positive mindset and enhancing self-discipline.
