Rs 75 thousand per month from sales of milk

By Siraj Khan, Nepalgunj, May 2: Resident of Kohalpur-13, Banke Gopal Oli earns approximately Rs 75000 per month from selling milk. 

Oli has been doing cow farming since two years. He informed that net income from selling milk becomes approximately Rs 75000 after the deducting the cost.

He said that around 50 liters of milk gets produced each day and supplies in market via dairy.

He happily said that this business has smoothen his livelihood.

Oli’s cow farm has got 28 cows including the breed of holstein friesian and jersey for producing milk.

In order to start the milk production business, Oli took loan amount Rs 25 lakh from Agriculture Development Bank. He invested Rs 15 lakh for 4 cows and a shed.

He purchased two cows from India and 2 from Nepal to start the business. 

Oli informed that he sales milk at Rs 56 per liter.
