Landslides block Beni-Jomsom road

By Thakur Prasad Acharya, Myagdi, May 26: Beni-Jomsom road section along the Kaligandaki corridor has been blocked due to landslides triggered by heavy rainfall on Tuesday afternoon.
The road has been
obstructed due to landslides at Sirubari, Raghuganga Rural Municipality in
Myangdi district along the corridor.
Sagar Timilsina, information
officer of the Myagdi district police office, said that four vehicles were
stranded in the landslides and as it was raining, there was no chance of
removing the debris from the road at the moment although a police team has been
mobilized to the incident site.
