Appropriation Bill tabled at Gandaki Province Assembly

Gandaki, May 26: The Gandaki province government has presented the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84 BS. 

In today's meeting, Minister for Economic Affairs, Jeet Bahadur Sherchan presented the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill, 2083. 

The appropriation bill has laid emphasis on spurring production and productivity, generating employment opportunities and delivering innovation, tech-savvy and startup projects in a way to contribute to alleviate poverty. 

It is stated that among the priorities laid out in the bill include commercialization, mechanization and marketization of agriculture sector through targeted programme focusing on marginalized, backward and minorities groups. 

Likewise, the government has set a goal to advance the concepts 'One Municipality, One Destination', 'Adarsha Gram' and 'Ujyalo Gandaki Pradesh'. 

The principles and priorities of the bill will be discussed in the province assembly meeting to be held on Wednesday. (RSS)
