Chitlang-Kathmandu road to close for 14 days
By Ram Mani Dahal, Makawanpur, May 26: The Chitlang-Thankot section of the Kathmandu-Hetauda road is to be closed for 14 days for vehicles for road construction and upgrading.
The road section is being closed from 31 May to 13
June to speed up the construction works.
Purushottam Bhandari, engineer at the Road Division,
Kathmandu, said out of 18 km, about half, 9 km, road has to be improved and two
construction companies are working on that.
As the mobility of vehicles obstructs the
construction of the road, the movement has been blocked for few days to speed
up the works.
