Woman dies after being hit by lightning
Okhaldhunga, April 30: A woman has died after being hit by a lighting strike. Devmaya Budathoki,57, of Khijidemba Rural Municipality-2 was seriously injured due to lightning strike on Saturday afternoon and succumbed to the injuries, Police Inspector Devendra Das of District Police Office Okhaldhunga said.
Budathoki was struck by the lightning inside her house. She died this morning while being taken to Manthali in Ramechhap for further treatment.
Two people have already died of lightning in Okhaldhunga in this month of Baisakh. (RSS)
