Chitwan-2 vote count: RSP's Lamichhane leading with wide margin
Chitwan, April 25 : Rastriya Swatantra Party's candidate Rabi Lamichhane has been leading the vote count with wide margin. So far, he collected 40,069 votes while contender Jit Narayan Shrestha of Nepali Congress got 7,457 and CPN UML candidate Ram Prasad Neupane collected 7,268.
At total of 56,496 votes have been counted so far, said assistant election officer at Office of Chief Returning Officer in Bharatpur, Ishwor Acharya.
So far, 870 votes have been invalid. (RSS)
