Kathmandu, April 23: The team United Arab Emirates defeated Singapore in the ACC Men's Premier Cup one-day International Cricket tournament held today at Kritipur Stadium.
Singapore was defeated with a wide margin of 201 runs.
With this win, the team UAE has garnered four points so far.
Singapore managed 270 runs at the loss of nine wickets in 50 overs against the target of 472 runs posted by UAE.
Winning the toss, UAE chose to bat first and managed 471 runs with the loss of all wickets in 50 overs.
For the outstanding victory of UAE, batsman Vriitya Aravind made contributions of 174 runs with 17 fours and seven sixes.
The next match of the tournament is taking place between Nepal and Saudi Arabia on Monday at Mulpani Cricket Stadium. (RSS)
