Mongolian Heart touring Australia

By A Staff Reporters,Kathmandu, Apr. 22: Nepali folk musical band Mongolian Heart is currently touring various cities in Australia for their musical concert. 

 According to a press release issued by Mongolian Heart, the band has already held concerts in four different cities in Australia. 

The band has concluded the concert in Melbourne on April 10, Brisbane on April 13, Sydney on April 15 and Canberra on April 16.

The band’s front man Raju Lama performed  songs like  ‘Mero Nepal’, followed by ‘Badal Pariko Desh Baat’, ‘Ma Maya Laundina’, ‘Halla Chalechha’, ‘Timilai Dekhera’, ‘Parkhaima’, ‘Sayad Timro Baatoma’. 

The audience in all the four places were relished on the performance, even after 10 years, the love in Australia has not decreased, it has increased, said Bobby Lama, the band’s manager and guitarist, as per the press release.  The band has reached Australia in a gap of 10 years. 

According to Lama, additional four concerts are scheduled in  Darwin, Perth, Hobart and Adelaide. 

Formed in 1992, Mongolian Heart is famous for folk, slow rock and pop melody songs. It has Boby Lama on rhythm guitar, Santosh Thapa Magar on drums, Kiran Nagarkoti on lead guitar, Pawan Kapali on bass, Binay Maharjan on flute and Baburaja Maharjan on Madal.

The band’s front man Lama is excited to tour Australia on the occasion of the band’s 30th anniversary.
